Ex-CFMEU boss pleads not guilty to raping woman

Queensland’s former CFMEU boss Dave Hanna has pleaded not guilty to raping a woman multiple times.

Hanna appeared in the Brisbane District Court on Monday for the opening day of his trial.

He entered pleas of not guilty to three counts of rape and another of recording in breach of privacy.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred on March 4, 2017 in the northern Brisbane suburb of Taigum.

The trial is expected to go for five days.
