Schwarzenegger struck by flying kick at South Africa sports event

Johannesburg: A man struck Arnold Schwarzenegger with a flying kick at a sports event in South Africa on Saturday, though the actor and former California governor later reassured fans that they needn’t worry about him.

Schwarzenegger, 71, was meeting with fans at his Arnold Classic Africa event, when a man jumped and kicked him in the back.

The former Californian governor and star of blockbuster films including The Terminator  and Predator was left visibly bewildered by the attack but apparently uninjured.

He later tweeted to his fans: «Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realised I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.»
